Parasailing or parascending in New Zealand also requires you to have knowledge of the Motor Boating Care Code.

All boating activities are regulated by Maritime New Zealand and the regional council for each area. Download the lifejacket guidelines to help you choose the right inflatable lifejacket, and learn how and when to service it.
